DiGamma Kappa is the official broadcasting society at the University of Georgia. The group meets every other week to provide networking opportunities, activities and social functions within the broadcasting industry. The organization also provides an atmosphere for students to learn about jobs and internships from future industry peers.

DGK encourages student participation in phases of production and fosters professional competence and skill development among members. DGK brings in professionals to speak, holds workshops, and offers members hands-on experience with writing, directing, producing, shooting, and editing. We strive to enhance students' educations by providing them with opportunities to gain experience and meet professionals in the industry.
